Using your BLT refund to support Work for Art

on your Combined Report Form for the Multnomah County Business Income Tax and
City of Portland Business License (forms SP-2006, C-2006, P-2006, or SC-2006).
- Designate that all or some of your refund be donated to "Work for
Art”
OR
- Pay a sum in addition to what is owed for your City Business License Tax.
Work for Art is dedicated to enriching the lives of our children, our families, our schools, and our communities through funding the services that our vital arts and culture organizations provide in the Portland metropolitan region. Over the past four years, more than 60 different companies and their employees have raised $1.1 million for arts and culture through this program.
Work for Art develops and manages workplace giving campaigns on behalf of more than 75 local
arts organizations that are working every day to bring music, dance, theatre,
film, visual arts, literary arts, and folk arts into our neighborhoods, schools,
and community centers. A community rich with arts and culture attracts families,
companies, and tourists who in turn create more energy and financial support
for schools and vital services.
A full 100% of your donation will be granted to local arts and culture organizations who demonstrate artistic excellence, community service, and fiscal responsibility through RACC’s competitive grant process. For every dollar donated, a public matching challenge fund from the City of Portland, and Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington Counties will make a matching donation to Work for Art.
Work for Art is a program of the Regional Arts & Culture Council (RACC), a 501(c)(3) arts service organization. RACC distributes Work for Art donations to local arts organizations in Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington Counties that demonstrate artistic excellence and fiscal responsibility through an established grant application process. Work for Art is conducted in partnership with Northwest Business for Culture and the Arts (NW/BCA) and the Portland Business Alliance (PBA).
Work for Art. Funding the arts is everyone’s business.
