How to Work for Art at Your Company
A Work for Art campaign
is a simple and fun way for your company and your employees to help raise money
for the local arts and culture community. There are four simple steps.
1. Involve the CEO and top management. Ask the CEO and/or
senior managers to publicly endorse the campaign. Many CEOs announce that they
will match their employees' contributions, which is a great incentive!
2. Coordinate with HR department. Work for Art can help your
HR department set up payroll deduction for your employees. Alternately, gifts
can be made through check or credit card.
3. Make the ask.
Work for Art can bring an artist into your workplace for staff meeting presentation
or lunchtime social event. We work with you to distribute and collect Work
for Art pledge cards.
4. Say
thank you. Work for Art sends acknowledgment letters
to all who contribute, and donors of $60 and above will receive the Arts Card.
